As the recent Kagnew Station Message Board was taken offline, I have been looking for alternatives and the Network54 boards seems to fit the bill. The response is good and I'm able to give you individual categories for the "Looking For Friends" area. Please use these boards for posting your comments and messages.

Loads quickly. Could be not much there yet. Don't mind advertising, its not too obtrusive.

I am sorry to see the old forum go, but I am glad to see you have found another. It is not as intuitive to use as the old one. I hope I have figured it out.
To all you Kagnewites out there, I invite you to see a page of scenic photos of Asmara on my "Johnny Watson Photography" web site.

Thanks,,,, for posting the pictures.......I was there from 1969-1973.5th grade to 7th grade. My dad is JAMES WILSON also known as JIM Wilson, his wife my mom is SUDIE WILSON.I have a brother James Wilson known as Buddy and a sister who is Sherry Wilson even tho she was 3,4,5 yrs old at the time when we was over there, she has memories happens to her they are were memeories of what she did.Like for instance she don't know why she sees her self on top of a building watching movies and a strange smell of strong salt. She was in her 20's when she started remembering things. And yes, The movies we were watching was on top of the hotel,,I think if I remember right it was called "ttu" we stayed right near on the ocean of Massawa. It does spook us when she tells us what she remembers. My Dad worked over at the Hospital cafteria as the cook in Kagnew.I have been to the market many times and down to Massawa many times also.I loved Massawa and miss the place. There are alot of Kagnew people living in San Antonio and the surrounding area, Here are some of who I have been in touch with and have seen again...... Lucy and Ken cole, Ray and Corena Villerial, and The Longs just Sgt Long.
Also been in touch with the Drummonds. Thanks for posting the pictures again what nice memories.
Thanks,
Terry Wilson --Devine((married name now))
