Response to Here is Trumpeter's 2003-2004 ship release listing:

I am stunned we will be seeing these subjects. I know for sure I will get all of them. Perhaps a few of the Lexingtons to do the "Lady Lex" in her pre-War configuration as well as her "near identical twin", the Saratoga. These ships were marvelously elegant.

I am very intrigued as to the configurations Trumpeter will offer these with? I hope they do the Saratoga in the late WW2 rig with the bulge added to her hull and all the AA gun rigging.

Folks, these kits are going to be almost 3 feet long each! The Nimitz will surpass it and the Kuznetsov will come almost to 3 feet. What a treat this will be!

I really hope Trumpeter completes the early WW2 US carrier list by adding the USS Wasp (CV-7) to this, as well as the "USS Ranger". Also hope they do the light aircraft carriers like the Independence class CVL's.

They have the "Essex" out very soon, I'm hoping they do a variant of the Essex class with the modernized types first seen on the "Oriskany". The angled flight deck and and enclosed forward bow, big island. These ships really made a difference for many years.

These guys need to start making 1/350th scale battleships, battlecruisers and cruisers while they are at it. There are SO MANY subjects to do. For cruisers I'm hoping for the various "Treaty cruisers" the USN had, as well as the Baltimore class CA's and Cleveland class CL's. Once the hulls of those are available, the potential exists for the later modifications made to many of those seen post-WW2.
