Response to I feel its a hopeless cause

I am not sure if this is your case, but I have a problem with making decisions on my own stuff. Illuminata did an absolutely fabulous job on her daugher's room, but I understand that our own things can pose more problems.

Does it take you a long time and maybe that makes it more daunting? Perhaps you could have a friend clear your room out or hire a professional if you have your own income?

How about a buddy to give you an honest opinion about some of the clothes and help you thin it out? Maybe there is a good many you can choose to just toss or take to a church/Salvation Army because you KNOW you don't need/want it anymore?

Would it motivate you or give you a burst of energy to just move the clothes in a heap that are covering the TV and just get it out? That is...pick apart your room problems into 'projects' and pick one that when completed, will inspire you to move forward on the others?

This group has been an inspiration for me and never ceases to amaze me with new, fresh ideas, as well as old ones that for some reason or another didn't work for me before, but do now.

I wish you Good Luck and keep us posted on your progress!

And again, welcome!
