You look up your state, and see what is "allowed" as exemption. In CA where I am, the school has the waiver form printed on the back of the immunization card. Other states are probably different. If you get a ration of !@#$%^&*(), then you have to provide something else. There are LOTS of sites regarding Texas and a few other states, because those states are obnoxious more than most.

You would have to keep your son home if there was ever an outbreak, unless his titres come back fully immune. But worth it, in my opinion.

But yes, you should be able to sign a form you can get at your school. If the school does not have a form, you can send me email with your state, or post your state on the board here, and others can give you ideas.
