We are a nation of immigrants, even the indigenous Americans, the Redman came here from Asia (they just arrived much earlier that the rest of us).
One of the most wonderful things about our country (and I say ours because you are one of us now) is that we have the freedom here to criticise that which is wrong, regardless of who or what that is.
So when Slick Willy couldn't keep his hands (or whatever appendage he used) off of the office help, we had the freedom to criticize him for it. When the storm troopers forced the firestorm in Waco, we have the right to express our outrage. And when the criminals and rackateers in the Federal regulatory agency take kickbacks and other bribes to fast-track untested medical products into mandatory treatments regiments which ultimately lead to slightly more than 1% of baby boys and 1/3% of baby girls to become autistic, we have the right to criticize that.
My express to "screw them" was not intended to be a direct action upon your part, either figuratively or literally. What I was saying is that if any took offense at the emotion of your posting, that was their problem. I stand behind the Bill of Rights, the First of which is the freedom for each of us to say what is on our minds, in the absence of malice and libel.
But perhaps my choice of words was poor; this is after all a family board here. So I will rephrase...
Should any take offense at the tone of your post (which I found to be less inflammatory than some of the rhetoric the NIH and CDC puke out), well thn they can go pound sand.
Is that better? | |
