May be a bit early here too...

But, we put up the Christmas the saturday before thanksgiving. The kids thought it was great fun to go to Wallmart at 7:00am to get a new tree. I am very alergic to pines so I have an artificial tree. My old tree just wasn't big enough!

We have done gingerbread houses. My daughter Melissa (who is 14) and her best freind Amanda did one while Daniel and Michelle did another. so, we have two on my dining room table. Along with various gingerbread men cookies.

Melissa, Daniel and Michelle put up Christmas clings on every window throughout the entire house. I put up my collection of Santa Clauses and Nutcrackers all over the living room.

The kids also have icecylcle lights in their windows in their rooms. I found some that are window size.

The tree is loaded with presants.

..and Daniel really got into Christmas for the first time last year. And this year says that "Santa is his freind"... We have listened to Christmas Carols, sang Christmas Carols. Watched Christmas videos. They have each picked out and wrapped a presant to each other. (needless to say, we have some interestingly wrapped packages under the tree.)

We have put garland around the front deck. And have fully decorated the back deck with lights all around and a few yard ornaments on the deck.

We have strung popcorn and when christmas is over we will string the popcorn up in the bushes for the birds. Stringing popcorn is great for fine motor skills!

We made tye dyed sweatshirts last weekend for the kids in christmas colors and glitter... had a great time doing so. This is a tradition we started several years ago...

I guess you could say, I like Christmas.
