The genes may not be malfuctioning,

it could be they are just "normal" genes for that particular person.

And injecting things into their bodies based on others peoples genes means those people are the acceptable risk, and i dont think thats acceptable.

I guess if others want to put themselves and their children at risk they have the right to do that, but i dont think it should be required. And i think people should get ALL the facts of the risks so they can make an informed choice. The facts of the risks are not completely known, therefore people cant make an informed choice.
