I cant remember, are you in america? Or canada?

I know in America if they dont have the speech/language pathologist they have to find one. There is no excuse for them to not have one, according to law.

Im sorry it didnt go better for you. You are sooo right about them not caring to do anything about their language skills, and just passing them along. I live in a very rural school district too. But that shouldnt be an excuse for teacher apathy.

The music reminds me of Geralds 5th grade teacher giving an A in art each quarter...there was no art.

Hope ya got some nice decorations (seems like your getting some good christmas spirit and I am glad you are).
