There seems to be a lot of this going around right now. I think it is the combination of the holiday preparations, and the 'outside' world's reaction to it (shopping and so-forth). Have you ever noticed how rude people can be this time of year? You can hold a door open for them, and no "thankyou" or even a smile. I know that gets to me, and was wondering if that is making me all the more tired in dealing with all the regular stress.
I can't offer any advice, really, just support. I feel for you...rough time of year!
An interesting side note is that I am currently running a poll where I am asking parents of children with ASD various questions...the idea being that there answers can be presented in a talk given to parents of newly dxed kids, to give them some idea of what to look forward to (ie. most kids were toilet trained at X age). Anyway, the percentage of MOMS who do all the research, doc's appts, meetings, etc are way out of proportion to the dads. Mind you, the dads who take this responsibility are awesome at it!
Keep your chin up!
