hi, son wanted to have his letter for feedback.
he has not gone to school since wednesday.
wont go until the principal replies to his letter he says. the spell checker fixed his spelling,but have left the 'wrong' use of words as it is... since it is all taht is left (after the spell checker was through with his letter) reflective of his own writing.
this is it:
Dear, Ms. (principals name, we dont know it yet)
I’ve told Mr.Rauhanen that I have vision problems and asked to move, but know it just another thing to tease me about. Like for example in math I raze my hand and say “Mr.R I can’t read #6 off the bored” he replies with, “I don’t think that that’s to sloppy” in a sarcastic voce “If you can’t read that then you should learn how to read!”
He also tells the whole class what I do wrong down to a little mistake in math and teases me about it all day and he also lets the class laugh it up like I’m some stand up Comedian. This makes me fell bad and brings down my self-esteem.
I do not want to go to school to be hurt by my teacher like this.
The same thing happens to other people in the class.
I think Mr.Rauhanen’s comments are rude and emotionally abusive.
What will you do to make the school a safe place to come to?
we have plans to send CC: to the teacher himself, and to the board.
also, am going to try to gather thoguhts to write own letter to go along with this one.
