Happy New year! FRIENDS!!!

it IS nice to wake up early (5AM) on this new year...
and wish friends a happy new year....


We did lots yesterday!
what a day!
1) advocated for daughter, so that she did NOT get left out... (HE wanted to take son to town, for a "family night" out at this place, fireworks, entertainment, family-alcohol free night outdoors event... saying daughter to come was "too much trouble" she was DEVESTATED, n I let him have it... saying he was being a biased parent, and that was not going to sit by and watch his actions hurt her feelings, and said son was NOT going anywhere with him if he didnt take them both.. interestingly he also said, he didnt want to take daughter to the dinner party today that he was to attend, but he would take son... geeessshhh....

2)we all, me, kids too, and dogs, went down to the bottom of this property, where the neighbours house is, they have a HUGE outdoor firepit, and they were out there, and they had the langlords son (familyO there, (they are friends, and we see them here Alot) they have 4 kids between them, 4, 6, 6, 8... and mine, 9 (on the 7th), n 11.....
michelle was mezmerised by the fire embers flying into the night sky, the moon was in "bloom".... it was huge, and on a completely cloudless starry night.. and ofcourse the kids went sledding... we have lights along the drive.. on trees... for thekids to see at night... and so does the neighbour... we live at top of road/driveway, and them at the bottom....the whole sledding hill was lit up.... michelle even did that a lil.... jasper came out... didnt stay for long... he gets so cold on that foot sofast.. he cannot hold heat in it outdoors any more..
the kids ate chips.... had crousants.. (sp?).... and cinnamon buns... all NO_NO foods on their diet.. but it was a party atmosphere....
it was outdoor fire, and sledding... the neighbour said "well have fire works... well shoot off out guns.. " oohh well... they didnt do it, and am glad.. dont know if wanted to hear that...

got tired,, came in and watched some funny canadian comedy tv.... on our fuzzy channel that we have never bothered to turn on... lol... (only two fuzzy channels come)......

went to bed at midnight.. very tired...

it was a good day....

ohhh.... AND DID GET A WASHER... to wash clothes....
had gotten some $ for getting one... and couldnt find one... well didnt look... and ex, had looked.. in this paper... and after reading several lines of regualr size washers.. found a great apartment size one...
itis only a year old, students at the universityhad it... it is great, and new and so so nice...
and it cost totally LESS then half price of new....
and still have $100 left over fromt eh $ had for washer...
wowow.......
