an interesting thought comes to mind...

I understand full well that bullies lack maturity. This is not news really.

But it does strike an interesting thought in me.

One of the recurring themes of people on the Spectrum is a lack of maturity they a professed to have. Many are described (even by themselves) as being arrested at a psychological age far younger than their chronological age...

People on the Spectrum are very often (if not always) subject to harassment and abuse at the hands of the typical bullies, and also very often subject to harassment and abuse at the hands of everyday people as well...

People on the Spectrum are not very often tormentors themselves, usually having more compassion if you will for others also on the Spectrum, depsite personality conflicts and other differences.

So if everyday people bully those on the Spectrum, and those on the Spectrum resist bullying themselves, then in reality everyday people must be more immature than those we NT's claim are immature.

curiouser and curiouser...

I wonder what we NT's might learn from our friends and cousins on the Spectrum if we just shut up and really listened to them for a while...
