I live in AR. My son is on a form of Medicaid that considers his income (trust me we are far from $100K). As of the end of the states fiscal year, June, 02 the program he is on, TEFRA, will probably have a co-pay. That's not too bad, but at the same time what about the folks that aren't working at all. These are for the most part people on welfare who don't care if they work or not, and take advantage of the system. Why isn't our govenor cutting their benefits and encouraging them to get off their tails and try to find work? Instead he's jeopardizing all the children like mine who didn't ask for this incredible thing called autism, or any other child with a disability that needs services. Just chaps my tail! OK I couldn't help but take time out of my work to respond to this one. |
