Response to That must have been a bit of a shock to come home to |

the fleas have moved on...
the ice still glistens in the sun...
the son is turning dark in its rays....
the ice gives...
the son a new territory...
he had planned to skate over 5 KM to the landlords grandsons house.. to go ice fishing....
over the lake, on his skates but not on the roadways walking...
interestingly...
there were just 2 snowmobiles leaving here to go there and neither would give son a ride to go there to be with them there...
but yesterday 4 of the people here had let the son drive theirs on the ice alone...
things sometimes do not make sense...
irregardless, it is something he wanted to do... luckily he was able to get a car ride to go fishing with the landlords grandsons....
the ice
brings something different....
early winter gave a clear smooth skating ice...
then it became snow covered, and hard to walk on...
it creaked, heaved, and screamed out...
then late winter/now the snow has melted off... and the ice is smooth, glistening... restfull... | |
