And, she boasted that she had put him in the straight jacket for hours. And..she boasted how clever she was to lock him in his room for HOURS anytime she needed a break.
She also talked about him "crapping" in his pants and saving it for her or "shitting all over himself".
She disgusts me and I don't post to her and we have an understanding that she isn't supposed to address me either after the the way she has verbally attacked me and my friends in the past.
As far as the regs go....that is supposed to be used as a last resort for safety. My experience is that if you don't brainstorm many solutions, you get stuck quickly going to your "last resort". Sometimes schools need Lots and LOTs and LOTS of ideas, so that they don't have to go that far.
And it should be against there regs for autism with all the sensory issues involved. It just hasn't been yet, because nobody has been mad enough to push for it.
And as always, "she" conveniently interprets what she wants and ignores an entire pool of information and studies. (selective mothering)
