OMG!

How can she say that we aren't in her shoes??? We ALL are in her shoes???? The difference is the humanity and love that we have vs. the verbal, emotional, and physical abusive nature that some have taken in life.

And "retard" is an offensive term. Parents I know with children that have MR find that offensive. It is derrogative the way you say it. It reflects the anger and hatred that you have for your child vs. the love.
