Mother Drops Boy For Not Being 'Good-Looking'
Child Fell From Third-Story Window April 21

DENVER -- A Denver woman accused of dropping her 7-year-old autistic son out of a third-story window told police Thursday that she was ashamed of him.
Cecelia Martinez reportedly told detectives that she dropped the child, Nicholas, because he is not as "good-looking" as his brothers.
The mother initially told police the boy fell out a window on April 21, but she allegedly confessed a day later.
Nicholas was in good condition Thursday. Friends said he is severely autistic and cannot talk or walk on his own.
Martinez faces charges of attempted murder, child abuse and assault.
