> 20 years ago, the incidence of autism was regularly reported to be 1 in 2,500. Today, the numbers appear to be much higher. For example, one recent study from Oregon claims that about 1 out of every 190 school aged children in that state have autism! Are vaccines partly responsible for this dramatic increase? Many parents and doctors believe they are.
> Others disagree. The purpose of this meeting is to examine the evidence on both sides of this important issue. Our first speaker will be David Berger, a board certified pediatrician who is Director of Pediatrics at Vitality Health and Wellness in Aventura. Dr. Berger specializes in Holistic Pediatrics, Autism and ADHD. Our second speaker will be Paul Draper, Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Philosophy at Florida International University. Dr. Draper teaches courses in logic and probability theory and has a 12-year-old daughter with autism.
