autism is a functional encephalopathy. Most probably it is the result of an allergic reaction to vaccination, no matter whether there is mercury in the vaccine or not. Other encephalopathies - ADHD, depression, fibromyalgia, etc. may well be result of the vacccination as well. As an allergic reaction is often accompanied by neurological signs, and as histamine is the central mediator of allergies as well as a major neurotransmitter, this is logical and has its basis in basic science. Both Rimland and Baker interviewed and spoke to the parents of the child cured of autism by a Toronto doctor. The conversations took place in LA in September 2005. The father also sent these doctors a book published by this doctor. Both Rimland and Baker shy away from the direct contact with the doctor - out of fear of somebody's priority? Or, rather, because any field of medicine is subsidized by the drug companies, and histamine being used for autism could colaterally cure/improve a large number of chronic functional conditions. Anyway, page 384 of the book tells you of 4 autistic children treated by the author.
