That's what I'm trying to figure out - if there is something fundamentally different about achievement tests than IQ tests, like the types of questions, way they are written, etc. My gut says for Emily the most important factor is the way the instructions are presented. Once she understands what they want, she's able give it for the most part. I'm better that for some reason she has an easier time with directions on achievement tests than IQ tests. Explain the directions better on IQ tests and I bet you'd see a different score. |
