BSAVE ,BLOAD multidimentions

Hi. Ive read about BSAVe to save the contents of a single dimention to disk and then later reloading it into another similar sized dimention. My question is is it possible to use BSAVE on a multi dimention.
Imagine this dimention Map(40,100) thats composed of integers of screen 12 colors. How would you save this?
