SHELL with older operating systems to Internet is COMMAND /C or...

by Pete

just START:

SHELL "START www.google.com"

SHELL "COMMAND /C START www.google.com"

Either work in Windows 98 and 95.

Like many programming projects today, you need to be specific in the details you provide about the project, which apparently you are not very good at. Different operating systems require different coding and have different pathways that need to be accessed. To make things even more complicated, people use diffferent browsers that store files in different folders and formats. So, if you can't be specific and take the time to write a post, which includes the operating system you are using, the browser you are using, and any modifications that differ from common systems, like you use drive D:\ instead of C:\, etc. forget it, we can't help you.
