Lucida 14 or Raster 12 x 18 will display complete console without scroll bars.

80 x 43

Lucida 16 works.

These settings make the console window as big as it can be without scrolling. Non-wide-screen monitors can use the Raster 10 x 18 setting and Lucida 18.

So, yes, WIDTH works but the inability to make it full-screen on Vista creates some display limitations as far as ease of readability goes. If you choose to small of a font, especially with 50 rows, it can be har to read on smaller monitors.
