Nice find QBguy, but I think Pete hates Interrupts too!

I never used the FILEATTR function. Good to know!

I don't see a big need for having to include the Interrupt Library when swapping the data is not that slow. It also might be difficult to handle when editing random lines out of a file.

Random files are kind of strange because somehow you have to know what records to remove. I usually use WRITE sequencial files. Then strings can be any length you need.
