Hold that thought for a few weeksby Artelius (Login Mikrondel)
I'm going to learn some stuff this semester which promises to replace "classical trigonometry" with "rational trigonometry" and does away with sin, cos, tan and their friends. I'm really interested in how this can be applied in computations.
Also, a note: I recommend that anyone interested in 3D geometry learns vector geometry and matrices properly. They're extremely valuable.
In regards to the subforum idea, I think this doesn't really fit in the Graphics forum. Maybe we should rename the ASM forum to "ASM and Advanced Mathematics"?
