I don't think that the internet will be the future for programming

The Internet changes day to day. It may become a way to terrorize the world too. I don't trust it as new viruses come out from all over the world. Even M$ cannot keep up! In fact they often create the targeted software.

It might be fun to make up an Internet application, but those programs are already available. With all of the previous code written, libraries will dominate programming. Just plug one in.

Programming is going the way of TV repair. Originally I had to chase wires everywhere. Then they started using plug in PC boards. Now they just about replace the entire circuitry! How can you make much money when the boards cost hundreds of dollars? Most people just throw the set away.

Most people will just do programming because they can. That is one reason many young people try QB. Plus it is free! Few will ever make money at it.
