Go here and download "beginner's tutorial". I was originally going to write 3 levels, but only completed the first one. In any case, it will give you a solid start to QBasic programming in a fairly clear, easy to understand and (I think) entertaining way.

After unzipping, run TUTOR.BAS (in QBasic). Mac has named the .zip file "TheBobTutor.zip", so if you're unzipping it in DOS, use "TheBob~1.zip".
