Sorry you had so much trouble...by (Login qb432l)R In most cases, people have their QBasic files in the same directory as QBasic.EXE or QB.EXE. In your case, you were running QBasic in one directory and had my program in a different directory. When you do that, QBasic looks for files in the QBasic directory, not in the directory where the program resides -- hence the path problem. I would be happy to add instructions to the zip file, but unfortunately, I am not the owner of this forum and have no such ability. Mac, the owner, posted the downloads for me, but is currently ill, and so I can't ask him to make such additions. In any case, thanks for hanging in there. I'm a senior citizen myself (retired). I turn 65 this year. I'm delighted to find someone of your age taking an interest in programming. If any of us here can help, feel free to ask.
