Response to Un question de géographie de Paris 1944

I explain why I think so :
On the left we can see a dome with, in front, a church with two pinponted towers, which can be the "Dome des Invalides" and the nearby "Ste Clotilde" church (again).
Eiffel tower in the middle, and "Notre Dame de l'Assomption" smaller dome and the "Vendôme column" on the right, roughly on a line.

If we try to find the intersection of those two lines (Invalides-Ste Clotilde and Assomption-Vendome) we must be on a point situated in the 1er arrondissement, somewhere around Avenue de l'Opera.

This explains why we don't see "Notre Dame de Paris" cathedral, which is more on the left, in that case.

So the two pictures were taken on Aug 23rd 1944, from two different points.
