Hello,

Have a question regarding possible use of the track from the new Tamiya UE on NKR's resin AMR33. The tracks look similar, but can anyone comment on whether or not they are close enough in size to act as a proper substitute?

Thank you
George

I asked the question here
http://minitracks.alloforum.com/sujet-2784-411461-1.html
and it is not established if they are exactly the same. They do look the same but...
But I would personnally do it as the difference should be small if any.

Tracks for the NKCs AMR33 kit

Hello George and Claude,
I too asked myself that question, also earlier than when Tamiya's Renault UE came out.
The AMR tracks indeed look wider than the UE tracks, but I think the Universal Carrier tracks [Not the Tamiya ones!] are pretty close [although not exactly similar] to what the AMR uses.
I plan to use a MK set on my old NKC kit one day, or a similar detailed set of UC tracks.

Theo
