We are now T- 19 days and counting. As I recall, there were a lot of "local" 72 grads who did not attend any of the 30th festivities. Some may not answer the door if the reunion knocked, but I think a lot of the others would come out this time if someone makes the effort to contact them. I have lost touch with a lot of people that would be great to see again - Rex Merritt, Dennis Granger, Donnie Burkhardt, James Roberts, Charles Thompson, Bocash (lives in Austin last I heard), Patty White, Ann Lee, Richard Schmidt, Morris Hollman, to name just 10 off the top of my head. And many probably still live in the area. I am going to try to track down as many as I can (the women will be harder with married names and all) to encourage them to attend this year's doings.
Those of you still in/back in the Garland area hopefully have done a better job of keeping track than I have been able to since I left Texas in 1978 and will also, hopefully be willing to reach out and find as many 72 grads as you can. This one could be bigger than 30 was but will depend on how many of us spend the time to make it so.
If anyone needs to contact me in the meantime, fyi - I will be traveling out of the country from June 13 - June 20 and will be very hard to reach.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone again.
