I was "enjoying" my standard Addison to Forney commute this afternoon and switched the channel to 6 "Sixties". Suddenly I'm listening to the Charlie and Harrigan (sp?) show from KLIF years ago. They are playing news, commercials, gags all of the Taglines and Jingles and such from KLIF 1190 in the sixties and early seventies.
I also heard The Coyote (remember the Wolfman Jack wannabe?...Have Mercy!), Jimmy Rabbit and Johnny Dark. Jimmy Rabbit promoted his "School Spirit Contest" and shouted out a hello to Garland Owls, South Garland Colonels and the North Garland Raiders! I don't know how long it is going on, but if you can receive it via XM or AOL and you read this in time, give it a listen. It's really a hoot!
