I would say that they are probably heeding what the Bible says about various moral laws. Not everyone that espouses to be a Christian is one;the Bible is VERY clear about that. Take a look at the Democrat platform and you will discover that it is at total odds against so many Christian values and morals that a TRUE Christian would never support their platform...from homsexuality rights to abortion to giving to the lazy people that don't want to work. Scripture in both, the Old and New Testament, is clear on these things. One either heeds ALL of what the Bible says or they don't; one cannot pick and choose what they want to believe and be a Christ follower. Homosexuality is a sin. One can love the sinner but still condemn the sin. Abortion is wrong. The Bible states that life begins at conception. The Bible is clear about the lazy not eating if they do not work. Yes, 'ignorant' is a correct term for 1/2 of America, so is 'In the dark', 'deceived', etc... One can have book knowledge and still be ignorant of God's laws. Judgement Day will come and many will say, "But, Lord, I did many things in your name", and He will say, 'Get away from Me, you are of your father, the devil'. Even having head knowledge about Christ and the Bible is not necessarily having 'heart knowledge' and heeding His Word and living it out. I walk my talk, every day, not just on Sundays. Therfore, I am proud to say that I am a Republican and support their platform. It is more in line with the laws of God.
