  • Trying to find my dream uni...

    • Posted Nov 25, 2000 4:57 PM

      Hi,
I have been riding unicycles for about 5 years, but only reciently got really into it when someone showed me a few tricks like how to wheel walk, go one footed, one footed wheel walking, and various mounts. I've learn't these and found they are not that hard, so I am now under the stupid delusion that if I can learn these tricks quite quickly I may get even harder ones...

The problem is that I have been borrowing good unicycles off other people, and I only have a 24" piece of crap that is too small for me and squeeks alarmingly. I want to find a 20" uni that will stay in one piece, with a comfortable seat, I would prefure just black and crome, but most importantly I want it to have flat lugs on the forks so you can stand on the frame. Oh, and I am a poor student of 17 years of age, so price is a limitation.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

I have performed a dance routine on unis before, but does anyone know of any acrobalance moves that can be performed on unicycles? I have tried a couple and I am sure there is potential in the idea. I saw that Sem and partner mastered the 'butterfly' on a uni. Very impressive!
