and I think Toon Town is pulling for this to happen as I am.
The Barnes, Bader & Setoguchi line has scored 18 goals in 14 games. The Keller, Rabbit & Bahensky line has scored 22 goals in the same period of time. Over all, thatís not a big difference. But, ever since the team has returned from the BC road trip, (last 5-games) Keller's line has scored 5 goals versus only 2 goals by Bader. Also, a couple of Rabbits goals were game winners in games the Barnes line scored zero. Is this something to worry about? I say no.
I think the 2nd line has done a far better job than what many are willing to give them credit. The 18 goals in 14 games is a scoring rate that puts them equal to many #1 lines in the league. On many nights they are our #1 line and I think
On the other hand, sometimes it's good to switch things up a bit. Personally, I'd like to see what would happen if they switched Rabbit and Barnes. Barnes has no goals in the past 7-games and only 2 in the past 12-games. Maybe doing this will light a fire under him. Also, putting Rabbit with Setoguchi and Bader as set-up men could make an already productive player (Rabbit) even more productive.
I can't believe the lines will stay fixed all season long. Let's see what happens on Saturday night.
