I am currently working in a Vetern's Home and taking care of a Marine who was on Iwo Jima.During one of our discussions he mentioned being at a flag raising on Iwo Jima.I can not mention his name here since he is under medical care and HIPPA prevents me from during so.Does anyone have a roster from the first flag raising?I believe that is the one He is refering to being part of.Thanks for your help.

I am in contact with Ray Jacobs--the radioman in Lou Lowery's photos of the first flag raising detail--should your man be one of the Marines on the E/2/28 roster, etc. and you need to contacy Ray, whatever, shoot me an e-mail for more info...
