Long Lost Love Come Home Ch.7

"Hey Baby!" said Phillip greating Mimi with a kiss and a hug. "Look Honey," Phillip said after hugging Mimi, pointing at Shawn.
"Oh my god! Shawn! Hi! How are you? Are you here with Belle?" Mimi asked squezeing Shawn so tightly that he couldn't breathe.
"Hey Meems. I'm ok. And I am here with Belle," Shawn said once he got enough oxygen to breathe.
"You and Belle are together?" Mimi said in shock.
"No!" Belle and Shawn said at the same time.
"I am just staying with Belle," said Shawn, "for the mean time."
"Oh," said Mimi, "Well, Honey. Are we going to lunch?" Mimi asked Phillip.
"Oh sure Sweetie," sadi Phillip, "Come on guys, I'll drive," Phillip said putting his arm around Mimi and lead Shawn and Belle out of his office to his car.
"Wow, they sure are different," Shawn whispered to Belle.
"Yeah, I guess a lot of people that everyone expected to get together and get married arn't together anymore. You know?" asked Belle.
"Ya your right. Phillip and Chloe is now Phillip and Mimi, and Chloe and Brady," Shawn answered.
"Ya," said Belle, "and then there is you and me..."
"What about you and me?" asked Shawn.
"I don't know, I guess people just expected you and me to get married," Belle said turning away from Shawn so that he wouldn't see her bright red face.
"Oh," Shawn said.
The car ride to the restaurant was silent except for the chatter of Mimi and Phillip. Then finally at the restaurant Shawn and Belle started to talk, but not to each other, to Mimi and Phillip.
"So, did Phillip tell you guys?" Mimi asked grabbing Phillip's hand.
"Tell us what?" asked Belle.
"Oh, well I have asked Mimi a big question," Phillip said nervously. Mimi comforted him with her other hand.
"Oh my god! Mimi what is that?" asked Belle excitedly.
"What Mimi," asked franticly.
"Is that an engadgment ring?" Belle asked.
Mimi looked at Phillip, "Yeah Belle," said Phillip.
"I am so happy for you two!" Belle yelled and imediatly got up and hugged them both.
"Guys, that's great," said Shawn, and he got up and hugged Mimi, and shook Phillips hand.
"Let me see it!" said Belle.
"Baby," Phillip said, "I am going to go take Shawn with me to the bar and order some champagne, ok?"
"Ok," Mimi said, "I love you!."
"I love you to," Phillip said escorting Shawn over to the bar.
While Belle looked at Mimi's ring, Mimi got her talking about Shawn. "So, what's going on with you guys, huh? Is the spark still there?" Mimi asked.
"I don't know. When he first stepped off that plane I thought it was, but I don't know, Shawn has changed so much. He is not the same person," Belle said.
Meanwhile Phillip and Shawn were having an interesting conversation as well, while they waited for the bartender to get the champagne out of the celler. "So, Brady you and Belle sleeping together. It's about time," Phillip said patting his friend on the back.
"Phil we arn't sleeping together," SHawn said defensively.
"Then what are you doing?" Phillip asked, "I remember when you two were inseperable. Always holding hands, kissing, you know?" Phillip asked Shawn.
"Yeah," Shawn said thinking about how it used to be.
"If you weren't together you were thining about each other," Phillip continued, "What happened?"
"I have just been surpressing my feelings I guess. But last night and then this morning...," Shawn started.
"What happened?" Phillip asked grinning.
"Last night she walked in on me changing, and then I when I saw her in her pajamas I just wanted her so bad. Then this morning I walked in on her ummm...getting ready to go into the shower," Shawn said blushing.
"So, Mimi was right," Phillip said.
"What?" asked Shawn.
"There still is a chance for you guys to live happily ever after," Phillip said.
"Belle?" Mimi asked.
"What?" asked Belle.
"You were saying that Shawn isn't the same person," Mimi finished.
"Oh, well, he isn't as warm and loving," said Belle.
"But do you still love him?" Mimi asked curiously.
"I don't know," Belle said, "We would have to
re-kindle some of that magic that we had. But I will tell you one thing," Belle started.
"What?," Mimi asked.
"I still love his body!" Belle said smileing, and they both giggled like they were sixteen again.
"What are you two girls laughing about?" Phillip asked returning with the champagne.
"Nothing Honey," Mimi said still laughing.
