Long Lost love Come Home Ch. 40 PT. 8

Belle stood infront of the mirror, trying to hold herself together. When Shawn said those words, those horrible words, Belle felt as if her heart had just broken into a thousand peices.
"Belle...?" Shawn said quietly as He stood in the doorway of their bedroom.
"How long have you been standing there?" Belle asked as she hurridly covered herself with her robe.
"A few minutes," Shawn confessed.
"What are you doing here? I thought I told you to leave?" Belle spat.
"I heard something break. I wanted to make sure that you were ok," Shawn said.
"It sounds like you care," Belle said, her voice raising.
"I do care. Very much," Shawn confessed. He still stood outside the doorway, as if he was waiting for permission to enter.
"No Shawn, I don't think that you do care!..." Belle began.
"Belle what are you talking about? I love you!" Shawn interupted.
"Love me! It sure didn't sound like you loved me five minutes ago!" Belle said.
Shawn opened his mouth to speak.
"No Shawn, I am not finished yet! I don't care if you are sorry or not. You just hurt me like you wouldn't believe. Why on earth would you ever think that I would cheat on you? I never have! Like it or not you are the father of this baby! If you are going to continue to blame me for sleeping with someone else, then I don't want you in my life. Because you left right after graduation. You didn't even say good-bye. You never wrote or called. Why was I soppossed to wait around for you, when I didn't even know if you were going to come back. I am not going to let you do this to our child. Here is the deal Shawn: You are either involved in this childs life, or you arn't. I don't want them to have to experiance the lose of you, just like I have, it hurts to much, and it just isn't fair, for me or them. So Shawn, make your choice," Belle said securly. She held her ground firmly, she was not going to back down.
"Belle, I was standing by the elevators, trying to...trying to understand what I was saying a few minutes ago. I don't understand why I would say those things, I don't even believe them, I was just angry about you not wanting to marry me. I guess I just thought that you didn't want to marry me because I wasn't good enough for you. And to tell you the truth, ever since I heard you say that you weren't a virgin, my mind has been racing, wondering what that other guy was like, and if he was better than me. Belle, I love you with all my heart. I love you as much as I know how to love someone. You are the only one for me. Thinking about you with someone else, just makes me so angry. I let my temper get the best of me, and I am so truly and deeply sorry for that, and for all the pain I have caused you. But that is enough excuses. Belle, I understand that you lost your trust in me, and I know that it is my fault. But I am willing to spend the rest of my life, with you, trying to make up for it. I don't care how long it takes, but you will trust me again," Shawn said sincerly. "I want to be involved in the baby's life, my baby's life. I want to be the best dad there is. But, I also want to be involved in your life. I want to be there for you, and I want to be with you, and just be in love. What do you say?"
