Shawn was in a deep sleep dreaming of his perfect girl…Her eyes her smile her golden hair…Just the thought of her brought an incredibly goofy grin to his adorable face.Then he heard…
::::::::BANG!CRASH!::::::::
The sound of the very loud thunder woke Shawn out of his deep slumber…
"What in the Hel-"Shawn said ,he wasn't fully awake yet.
"Shit!Belle"He cursed
Shawn jummped out of the bed and grabbed his jeans and his tee-shirt and bolted out the door and raced down the stairs
Bo and Hope were sitting on the sofa Kiss- talking…yeah …that's all they were doing…talking.
"What's wrong!??"bo laughed "Where's the fire?"
"BELLE!"Shawn yelled
"Oh dear is she hurt?"Hope asked concerned
"N-n-no…I mean I-I-I D-d-don't k-know,She's really scared of storms"Shawn studderd
Hope smiled because she knew Shawn only studderd when he was really up-set or worried abouth something…or in this case SOMEONE.
"Shawn I'm sure brady will take care of her"Bo said amused at how over protective his son was of his 'bestfriend'
"NO!Brady is at Mikes house and her parents are at the Horton Cabin…I'm bringing her back here"Shawn said just daring them to tell him 'No'
"Sure hunny…go get your girl"Hope said with a laugh
Shawn changed his defensive demeanor and sent her a shy smiled and bolted out the front door and towards his car…
He hopped in and jerked the car into Drive and sped off towards the penthouse…
"Please be alright Belle…just be ok"shawn whispered to himself
He went as fast as he knew he could with out getting a speeding ticket…
When he finally reached the penthouse he jumped out of the car and left it running…he ran into the lobby and pressed the elevator buttons about 5 times too many…
"Come on!ugh!I have to make sure she's ok!"Shawn yelled in frustration
::::::::::BANG!CRASH!::::::::
"Shit!Hurry up you damn elevator!"
As soon as the elevator came down Shawn jumped in and pounded on the number 22 untill the elevator started going up.
"I'm coming baby…I'm coming"Shawn whispered
when the elevator FINALLY reached Belle's penthouse Shawn jumped out and knocked on the door…
::::KNOCK KNOCK BANG CRASH!::::::
"Belle open up!Its me Shawn"He yelled
the door opened to reveal Belle with a tear stained face
Shaen enveloped her in a hug and backed her up inside the penthouse
"I-I-I was so s-s-scared"Belle whispered trying to calm her sobs
"shh…perfect girl…its ok..I'm gonna take you back to my house…ok?"Shawn whispered in a soothing voice
Belle nodded and he took her down to his car and put her in…he held her close the whole way to his house.The ride was silent until Belle whispered a simple question…
"How did you know?"Belle asked very quietly.

"I don't know…I could just feel it…You know?I could feel how scared you were"Shawn said looking straight ahead…afraid to look at her
"I get really scared…that was the first time no one was there during a storm…see when I was younger…My brother…Eric's house…it..it"She choked out and started sobbing…
Shawn put his arm around her…Pulling her close to him…they were both wet from running to the truck from the penthouse…it was really coming down hard.
"Shh…its ok…You don't have to tell me…I understand…I just want you to be ok"shawn breathed in her sent as he spoke…she smelled like peaches…he loved when she smelled like that…not that he minded Cherry…stawberry…hell he was just happy when he could get close enough to figure out what kind of scented body lotion she used.
"No…No…I want to tell you"She spat out between sobs
Shawn ran a soothing hand up and down her arm…trying to calm her as he pulled into his Parents drive way…
"We're gonna be fine…I promise"He said and suddenly kissed her cheek..dangerously close to her mouth.
Belle gave him the first smile that night…and it made him grin…knowing he was the only one who could make her smile when she was up-set.
Shawn jumped out of the truck…ran around to Belle's side and helped her out…once she was out they made a run for it…and got even wetter in the process…
Shawn burst through the door with both arms wrapped Tightly around Belle…who was drenched from head to toe…and tired…
"Oh Belle…Dear…are you alright?"Hope asked concerned
"y-y-yes…I'm fine…Shawn came and got me"Belle's teeth chattered as she spoke
"I'll go get you some towels "Bo said as he ran up-stairs
Shawn Pulled Belle close and Kissed the top of her head…Hope smiled at the site before her…she Knew they'd be together before summer was over…she just knew it.
"here ya go…"Bo handed them a bunch of towels…
"Mom…I'm gonna go let belle take a shower and I'm gonna get dry clothes on ok?"Shawn said never taking his eyes off Belle
"Are you saying I smell bad Brady"belle said trying to lighten the mood
"No more than usual"shawn said wrapping his arm around her and guiding her towards the stairs
"Ha!I resent that!"Belle said as they made their way up to shawn's room
"You do know your sleeping on the sofa Shawn Dougless Brady Don't you?!?!"Hope called up the stairs
"Mom…I'm a little occupied here …WE'RE taking a shower!"Shawn yelled
"WHAT!!?!"Hope screeched
"I'll kill you!"Belle screamed
then hoped knew her son was kidding…she also knew how much he wanted it to be true…
*********Up-stairs*********
"Are you sure its alright to take a shower?"belle asked feeling like she was imposing
"YES!Now go…besides it'll keep your mind off of things"
Belle smiled and went in the bathroom…
Shawn heard her turn the water on and the shower curtain close…what he wouldn't give to be in there with her…
Shawn quickly changed into a pair of long boxers,that came a little above his knees and a white tee shirt…He laid back on his bed and stared up at the celling…picturing his perfect girl…about 16 minutes and 23 seconds latter…(he counted)Belle stepped out of the bath room with nothing on but a towel wrapped around her…
"Damn"shawn whispered
Belle blushed and looked down at her feet…
"I uh…don't have anything to wear…its all wet"She whispered never looking up at him
"I'll go see if my mom has some …uh…things for you to wear…I'll be right back"shawn studdered still eyeing her glistening body
::::Knock Knock Knock:::::
shawn raced to the door
"I thought Belle might need these"Hope said as she handed him some P.J.'s a bra and some under wear
"AHEM…thanks uh..Mom"Shawn cleared his voice to keep it from squeaking…
"we're going to bed…They say this storm is gonna be pretty bad…you can stay with belle till she falls asleep ok?"Hope said with her trademark Eye brow arch..,
"Mmhmm…Got it"shawn said closing the door… "Um…here you can go put these on ok"
"thanks…For everything…"Belle said as she went in the bathroom to change…
Shawn flopped backwards on his bed…with a huge grin on his face…
"I love Storms"Shawn whispered

The thunder startled Shawn out of his daydream of Belle…who was in the bathroom getting dressed…
"shit…that's loud"Shawn mumbled turning on the television …finding that at 11:00 nothing was on but the news and the weather…and a music video…it was Nsync…he quickly settled for the weather…
"What the hell his taking so damn long"Shawn murmured keeping his eyes glued on the bathroom door.
He stared at the door knob willing it mentally to turn…
Finally after Belle was dressed and her hair was towel dried she opened the door to see shawn laying on the bed waiting for her…
She had a pair of cotton shorts on and a tank top that came a little above her belly button…
"Hey"shawn said softly…
There was a loud burst of thunder…Belle was on the bed next to Shawn in two seconds flat…
"Sorry…I just got scared"Belled whispered …moving out of Shawn's arms…
Shawn wasn't having it…he pulled her closer…and whispered
"its no problem..Believe me"
belle giggled…she had goose bumps all over her body…she'd never admit it was because of him…not because she was cold
Shawn smiled when he saw the goose bumps…he got off the bed and pulled the covers down…Belle followed his lead and pulled the other side down…
"Listen…I'm gonna stay with you till you fall asleep …Then I'm gonna go down stairs…but if you wake up and you get scared…you come get me ok?"shawn said as he climbed in the bed and patted the spot next to him for Belle to lay down.
"No shawn I won't let you do that…Your gonna sleep in YOUR bed…I'll sleep on the sofa…I'm just glad you came and got me"Belle said settling in his arms
"No your sleeping up here"shawn argued
"No you are"belle was just as stuborn
"Belle"
"shawn"she said in a sing song voice making him laugh
"I'm gonna win"shawn said nuzzling his face in her neck
"how about if we BOTH sleep up here"Belle said pulling the covers up
"Excuse me?"shawn choked out his words
"It'll be fine…besides…I heard your mom say it was gonna be a really bad storm…you don't want me to be scared …do you?"Belle smiled
"No…I wouldn't want that"shawn grinned… and wrapped his arms around her pulling her as close as he could
"mmm" shawn let a moan escape his throat as she wrapped her arms around him so her hands were on his back
:::::::BANG BANG BANG!:::::::
The thunder was louder than it had ever been in salem…they felt the house vibrate…the lightning was brighter than it had ever been…Flashing through the windows…
Belle jumped closer to Shawn…Holding him as tight as she could…Shawn brushed her hair back with his fingers…soothing her..whispering in her ear…
"S-S-Shawn…I'm…I'm ready to tell you …Tell you …why…why…:::Sob:::I'm…I'm so scared of :::sob:::st-storms."belle choked out
Shawn nuzzled his lips against her neck…loving the feeling of her soft skin
"whenever your ready Belle,I'm here to listen"Shawn whispered…lightly kissing her neck…forgetting that …that wasn't something 'Best friends' do to each other.
