In reading the postings here I get the impression that several of you have only read the second book "New Trading Dimensions" and not "Trading Chaos", and a few have only read "Trading Chaos". Am I right? I find them to be very different, and still find that I have a preference for the 1st book.
I also think that reading the 2nd and implementing the system revealed there, without including things from the 1st, may be missing the point. And, the point being that Bill writes these books to sell his training package. He would be foolish to put everything in the books. So, I think that if we can't afford the training package, we will have to be very clever in figuring out what is missing from the books and eventually figuring out the whole system.
One thing we may have to give up is the belief that this can be implemented as a mechanical trading program. My current view is that he is giving us tools and a map to enable us to become expert traders.
Or maybe he has given us 'training wheels' (trading wheels??) so we can learn to 'cycle' through the markets. Some people require the training wheels for longer than others, but soon enough I think that most of us can learn to ride without them. Then the next step might be to ride with no hands? And then, we could try that without the handle bars. And then . . .
Life (and the Market) is not a problem to be solved, it's a process to be experienced. Each step can be a joy.
If you're looking for the 'quick fix' system that will make you some easy money, I suspect that you are following the wrong guru.
