help finding manufacturers ID code for Buick GSX 71

I'm about to purchase a 1971 buick GSX . I would like to know how to be sure it's a GSX.

There isn't a whole lot of info out on the 71-72 GSX's. From what I gather this was an option that was installed on GS's whether they were 350's or 455's. www.GSX.net is a good source of information on this.
