Hey all, I have downloaded a working copy of Black Crypt, created my party and now need to save the game in order to continue. I created both a custom and standard floppy in WinUAE, when asked to insert save disk I have tried both of these new floppies but WinUAE keeps asking me to enter a save game. How do I save the bloody thing in order to start? I love this game please help!

How to save

Once you've created the blank .adf with UAE, you have
to load up Workbench and rename it as 'gamesave'. It
will then be recognized as the save disk in Black
Crypt.

That should do the trick.

I was going to give you a mini-tutorial complete with
pics but just don't have the time. I'll save us both
some hassle and cut right to the chase.

Download and extract the following zip:

http://www.iinet.net.au/~bjg/gamesave.zip

That's the gamesave adf file for you. When you play
Black Crypt in UAE put the game adf's in the 1st 3
drives and the save adf in the 4th drive - it'll be
recognized and the game will save automatically when
you begin your quest.

Have fun!
