I am looking for a old action game, i think it was for amiga but i am not sure. It was a sidescroller and you played a guy with a gun instead of one hand , he used a knive for close combat and when he ran out of ammo. You could buy new weapons like rockets and more lives. It mas mission based and the first boss was a robot or some mech-thing.
Can somebody help me???

Sounds a bit like Assasin from team17, which was their "tribute" to arcade classic Strider.
