This applies to WinUAE 0.8.22 Release 9 and maybe others.
First make sure you can run your game normally, before attempting any of the below tweaks. Pointless doing this if the game does not work, Yes ?
(1) To speed up the floopy loading speed, on the floppy tab move the floppy speed slider to 'TURBO'
Test game.
(2) Under the CPU TAB, select "Fastest possible, but maintain chipset timing"
Test game.
(3) See if you can install the game to a "Hard Drive Image" using 'WHDload' . This tool can be found here
