| I just tried the Atari ST version of this game and experienced the same problem of not being able to pick up flashing items. |

Ok, well have you thought that this may be a USB problem? I also use a PSX2 pad with USB and sometimes games dont work, for me its typically Commodore 64 games but trying Last Ninja 2 I dont seem to be able to open the door on the seond screen, so maybe we have a similar fault although other Amiga games are fine in WinUAE control wise for me, what other games if any do you have similar problems with I could try them out and see if I get the same problem.

dave, if you 're talkin about the very second screen as far as i know, you can't open that door. all you do is punch, accurately once, the blue area that momentarily flashes after defeating the villian. the blue will turn to grey when you know you've succeeded. proceed back to the first screen and you'll notice a chasm. i hope this is what you're talking about! by the way, you do encounter a key not too long after but i used it to open a fence/gate. |

LOL, seems I dont play these tough games long enough..
well I managed to pick up the key, a burger and a staff, although these items didnt seem to flash like they did in the C64 version, which I've played years ago.
an you pick up those items? |

this may not be a USB prob after all. If you change settings to keyboard layout A, B, or C, there still is no key or combination of keys that yeilds the ability to pick up items. anyway, my keyboard isn't connected to a USB but rather a PS/2 port. this definitely looks grim!!!!!!
