Despite using every config avalable i cannot get rid of horizontal lines accross my screen when going to full screen mode. how can ii stop this?

The only thing I can think of and I just tested it, is you have scanline ticked in the display tab as this gives horizontal lines. Try selecting a different line mode like doubled or normal.

I tend to use doubled from what I can see.
