Hello everybody!

i want to use my old amiga 1000 as i had done it 20 years ago. I have many software but only kickstart 1.2.For most games i need Kickstart 1.3.
I have these Kickrom as a ADF-File on my PC and want to bring it on a Amiga Disk.
Transrom is only from Amiga to PC!?
What can I do?

Hi, if you have a hardrive on your Amiga the easiest is to get a null modem cable (X-over) a terminal program for your PC and a terminal program for your Amiga, send your ADFs to your Amiga this way then there is a program, (whos name escapes me at the moment) that converts adfs sraight to Amiga floppy within a minute or so. I used to do this but sold my Amiga 1200 last year, Transdisk is useful if you have no Harddrive, Seems to work ok but havent used it my self tho..

thank you, but i have no hardisk on my Amiga 1000 and not enough ram for transfering the whole ROM.Disk to the Amiga and then translating it there. I have a null-modem cabel and need a software to copy the AMIGA.KICKSTART1.3 ROM File from the PC direct to the AMIGA Floppy.
I can do that with normal ADF.DISK 880 KB to the AMiga Floppy with Transdisk. But this works not with the Kickrom and Transdisk, because the KICKROM has only 512 KB.

Is there a way, to do it? Thank´s for your help!!!

If you have an kickrom.adf on the PC Side and you want to make a Kickstart- disk for your Amiga, download the programm writekickdisk from AMINET, transfer it to the Amiga. Use a Null-Modemkabel. On the PC you need the programm ADF-Sender.Put an empty Disk in the AMIGA Floppy and type [CLI] writekickdisk ser:"name of kickrom" then start ADF-Sender. It worked by Kickstart 1.0 - 1.3 because of 256kb.
