Hi all, I am sorry if this has already been asked elsewhere, but can anyone help me regarding saving the game in Cannon Fodder?

I created a floppy using Winuae, put it in the drive (so to speak), but when Cannon Fodder asks for the save disk, and you click ok, nothing happens. I even tried formatting it in Cannon Fodder (banana in disk drive error, never fails to make me chuckle), but still no joy. I really dont want to have to start from lvl 1 every time!

It's ok, I looked through old threads, and found the answer. Not what i wanted to hear, but at least I know now anyway.

Using the "save state" option.
