This was in today's Altercation (http://www.msnbc.com/news/752664.asp):

CORRESPONDENTS’ CORNER

Name: David August
Dear Mr. Alterman,
As I know you are probably very busy, I will keep this concise. I am a huge fan of yours: I am an avid “The Nation” reader and I have just read you recent book. I enjoy sports, and like to use them as a way to relax, which is why I am very upset at ESPN’s hiring of Rush Limbaugh as an NFL analyst. To keep it short - I dislike the man very much, and the thought of seeing him on a sports show disgusts me, so I have started a petition to let ESPN know how I and many others think. At minimum I would like your signature, and I would very much appreciate it if you could help my cause with a mention and a link. I know this may seem trivial, what with all the crap going on now and with Bush and his ideologues spiraling the country around the sewer drain, but at least at the end of the day I could sit back and relax and watch some highlights on ESPN with out seeing something as repulsive as Limbaugh’s ugly mug...not anymore.
