Are you crazy??? How do you figure that this man is a good president or even remotely intelligent? First of all, the only reason he is president is because he is obscenely wealthy and his father pulls a lot of weight within the Republican party. What has this man done for our country since he has taken up occupancy in the Oval Office??? Absoultey nothing. Nothing but blow the largest budget surplus in United States history, lead our country into a completely illogical and false war that continues to drain our coiffers and jeopardize the stability of this country and harm the middle and lower classes, and he's undermined the stability of the international community. Oh yeah, he's also given tremendous tax cuts to wealthy people and corporations that he claims will stimulate growth... has anyone seen any growth? Let me also point out that Mr. Bush and his buddies were so tightly embroiled in the Enron scandal that it is not even funny. What ever happened to that anyways? Oh yeah it mysteriously dissapeared from everyone's memory...oh but that was probably because we had to go in and get Saddam Hussein(sp) because Mr. Bush claimed that he was sponsoring Al Quaeda despite the fact that no one has been able to prove that any such link did exist, nor that he still possesed weapons of mass destruction. (oh yeah by the way, for all the rhetoric that Mr. Bush and his administration spew about the Hussein regime and how horrible it was, let me remind you, or perhaps you didn't know this yet b/c clearly you don't strike me as the kind to read anything worhtwhile or acutally know what you are talking about before you speak, the United States of America including Mr. Bush senior was responsible for maintaining Saddam Hussein's grip on the Iraqi people. We kept him there and we paid him to attack Iran, we gave him the weapons of mass destruction and biological weapons that we now seek to uncover. Saddam Hussein never supported Arab terrorists, he was a pro-western dictator and he essentially worked for us. The only reason that Iraq now stands in such a state of disrepair is because the United States and Bush senior decided to impose completely erroneous sanctions against the people of Iraq that did nothing but hasten their suffering and demise.
But back to GW...what has Mr. Bush done for education? Nothing. SOcial Welfare policies? Nothing. Job creation? Nothing. The poor and middle class??? Nothing. Has he stopped terrorist attacks? No.
I'll tell you what he has done, he has lied to the American people over and over again, as we now know concretely that the lied in his State of the Union address, and that was just one occassion. President Clinton was impeached because he lied about having "sexual relations" with a trollop who worked in his office, and this man (GW) stands before the entire Nation and world and lies blatantly, yet people like you find no wrong with this. You want to know why I feel it is necessary to berate our president? Because he is an IDIOT! and clearly so are you! As far as I am concerned he is not my President. I did not vote for him and he technically was not elected!
I only hope that the lives of all of our troops who are being forced to fight a war that Mr. Bush's, Mr. Rumsfeld's, Mr. Wolfowitz's and Mr. Cheney's children will never even have to think about, are not being lost in vain.(You might have to do a bit of research to figure out who all those people are!) By the way, did you know that Mr. Cheney's former corporation Halliburton Co. and its subsidiary Brown and Root, was granted an uncontested multi-billion dollar contract to develop Iraq's oil infrastructure which means, Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney and all their buddies will be and are being made even more wealthy while people like me and the rest of the American people foot the bill at a mere cost of 4 billion dollars a month (oh yeah meanwhile we can't even provide medical coverage for the elderely in this country).
And while all this continues, there is a little country called North Korea that continues to proliferate Nuclear material. Why aren't we fighting them? Because Mr. Bush knows that you can't attack a country that really does have weapons because they will actually bomb us. Thats why we go after places like Iraq because we know they don't actually have the capability to do us any real large scale harm. If you think Al Quaeda is coming out of Iraq, just you wait. So the war on terror continues, and people like you continue to blindly believe all the nonsense you see on CNN. Let me offer you one piece of advice, READ SOMETHING! Go to you local library and check out a book about the history of the middle east and economics and foreign policy, try to understand what is really happening. Do some research, get some facts and then you come back at me and tell me why I should not consider Mr. Bush and idiot (though I doubt that will ever happen).
